Lip fillers, also known as nonsurgical lip augmentation, are injectable treatments that add volume to plump up thin lips. Many fillers are made of hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a naturally occurring substance in the body that keeps your tissues hydrated.
Juno Aesthetics offers three types of lip filler treatments from quality brands like Restylane® and Juvéderm®:
Restylane Kysse is a lip filler designed to give natural-looking results, enhancing the texture, color, and volume of the lips. This type of dermal filler can smooth out the wrinkles on your lips and perfect your pout, producing results that last for up to nine months or longer*.
Juvéderm Ultra XC also contains hyaluronic acid, which can help your lips retain moisture and suppleness to keep them looking full.
Lip enhancement at Juno Aesthetics can redefine your lips by making changes that create more symmetry and balance to your facial features. The team can discuss your goals and let you know what to expect with the lip injections.
To be a candidate for lip fillers, you must be 21 years of age or older. It’s also important that you’re in good health and have realistic expectations for fillers.
Many people want to increase the overall size of their lips, but you may also get fillers to address cosmetic concerns like:
The team at Juno Aesthetics can help determine if lip fillers are right for your needs or recommend other aesthetic options.
When you come into the office for lip fillers, the team prepares your lips to receive injections. They may apply a topical anesthetic to numb the treatment area so you won’t feel any pain or discomfort during the process. Depending on your goals, you might need multiple injections to achieve your desired look.
After about 10-15 minutes, the treatment area should be numb. Then, the team will inject the filler substance into your lips or around your mouth. The process takes less than 30 minutes.
Following your lip injections, they may recommend placing an ice pack on your mouth to reduce bruising and swelling.
Lip fillers offer temporary results, so the team might recommend follow-up treatments if you’d like to maintain your youthful beauty.
